We are blessed with good children. For the most part they do what they are told, are kind to each other and respectful of us. Recently however Jonah has had a little extra "sass" to him, and Ben told him that he wished he wasn't his brother. I took them out ot lunch yesterday to talk about their behavior and how it needs to change. I think some threats were made. Predictably, Jonah tried to defend himself and Ben said he meant to tell Jonah how much he likes him, but the other thing just popped into his head.
In Sunday School today, we were talking about discipline and came across Proverbs 12:1:
"Whoever loves discipline loves knowledge, but he who hates correction is stupid" (NIV).
I made Jonah look up this verse as we were driving home from church. Things should start improving now.
